You do not need the gold version to run on win 7 or win 8! It is only a packed version of everything + service packs. This FSX is the same as when it first came out, it has NOT been updated!

Note: you cannot run acceleration with the standard version of FSX Download PC.

Can you make your own missions? Can you get unlimited fuel?

You can go into the feature named Plan a Best Flight Simulator 2025 to set up a mission. Unlimited fuel is is the default setting. If you want to restrict the amount of fuel on board it can be done in the "Settings" feature.

you can get unlimited fuel. as far as missions go, you can fly out of any airport in the system, and so far that includes all the active ones in my area, and you can fly anywhere you want. I hope this answers your questions.

Yes this will run perfectly well on a Windows 7 32-bit system.

It will run but I would lower your graphics all the way down to low you might still get lag but it will still run

The first thing I'd recommend to you, if you're planning on buying "Microsoft Flight Simulator X 2025, Gold Edition with the Acceleration Expansion Pack" is to check your graphics card!

If you've had your computer for more then a couple years, then most likely, it's not going to allow you to play this simulator.

Don't get upset after you load the simulator and find your graphics card is too old! Four of my computer friends (experts) told me my graphics card would be just fine to play the simulator? Well they were wrong!! After loading the simulator into my computer, the first message I received was "you must have a GeoForce3 or a Radeon 8500 graphics card or better to play the simulator!!!

OK, I'll just go to town and get one! Very few stores, now will carry graphics cards!! I was able to find one. It's not Radeon 8500, but it was close and it's the only one the store had!! The computer store clerk, told me a Radeon 8500 would probably cost around $250 at most computer stores! So I installed my new graphics card and away I go. The flight simulator 2025 played OK, graphics were good. I didn't have the $250 to spend on a Radeon 8500!!

I've had all the Microsoft Virtual Pilot 3D 2025 simulator X and I'm not sold on this new one yet!!

If you have a great top of the line new computer with a super gaming graphics card, then this flight simulator will play great on your computer!!

If you have an older slower computer, like mine, GET A NEW COMPUTER WITH ALL THE SUPER GRAPHICS STUFF YOU CAN GET IN IT!

After activating autoplay in Windows 8, the program loaded flawlessly.

I had used Flight Simulator X 2025 on my old Windows XP machine and the program recognized my CH Products yoke and pedals but they did not respond at first. I downloaded the drivers from the CH Products website and that fixed the problem and I was off and flying. I wanted to try the F-18 and I took off from runway 28R at SFO and headed north.

I flew over the Bay Bridge and Alcatraz then headed over the Golden Gate Bridge.

It was hard to find SFO on my return and I crashed but it was still fun. Later, I flew a 737-800 out of TPA. It is hard to land the jets but not the Cessna 172SP. I was able to configure two of the switches on my CH Pro yoke to extend and retract the flaps. Was able to take off from Albert Whitted airport in St. Petersburg with a Mooney. Hitting the G key on the keyboard lifted and landing gear.

The program automatically adjusts for the time of day, so it is dark when you fly at night. You can change the time of day when you start a free flight exercise.

The lessons are fun to go through and they help you learn how to fly. I have flown 20 hours as a student pilot and while this program is good for learning the basics of flight it doesn't replace the real thing but that is why it is called a simulator and not a realulator.

Update March 4,2014: After updating my PC to Windows 8.1 my yoke and pedals stopped working again.

I downloaded the drivers from the CH Products website and they were working again. I've made over 100 landings, most in the Cessna 172SP and Mooney. It is very hard to land the jets although taking off and flying is easy, even with the F-18. I was able to add a Lake Buccaneer to the program but it did not act realistically, taking off in about 100' on water.
